Helen Young Hayes is a 20-year veteran of the financial industry. Helen was the Managing Director of Investments at Janus Capital, managing the equity, fixed income, money market, trading, and research departments. Additionally, she was the portfolio manager of the flagship Janus Worldwide Fund, Janus Overseas Fund, and related assets totaling over $40 billion at Janus. A prominent investor in overseas equities, Helen was a pioneer in bottom- up, fundamental stock-picking in international markets. She is credited with bringing growth style investing to foreign markets. Her awards include Morningstar International Manager of the Year and Barron’s Manager of the Year.
Helen has a degree in Economics from Yale University and serves as a Board Advisor to MalarVx, a malaria vaccine company, and Q Advisors, LLC, a technology and telecom investment bank. Helen serves on the advisory board of Children of Hope Africa and Mile High Ministries and raises awareness and support for children’s causes. She and her family live in Denver, Colorado.
